The Engineering Development Program (EDP) is designed to develop the skill set of an Engineering Apprentice to a point where the candidate can assume a maintenance engineering position within two years of the start of the program. The Engineering Apprentice reports to a designated team of mentors. The candidate will go through a rigorous training program which could include internal and external training, on the job training and may include classroom work. Responsible for assisting the Regional Manager in maintaining the physical asset and maximizing the financial returns from that asset in accordance with the owner’s objectives.
