The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for assisting the Manager, Business Operations Finance, in meeting goals and deadlines set forth for the Accounts Payable Group. This position requires excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. A working knowledge of office processes and related computer software and electronic communications tools is essential, as is the ability to communicate with all levels of staff.
The Asset Manager supports RMR’s objectives of enhancing asset value through product positioning, increasing net operating income, and maximizing revenue, cost-effective operations, and guest service guidance. Emphasis is placed on interacting with Hotel Asset Management senior leadership and hotel operators for the purpose of enhancing hotel performance through the implementation of best practices and value-enhancing strategies with the goal of protecting assets from downside losses and valuation improvements. The candidate must interact in a thoughtful and collaborative manner with external partners, senior leadership, and the hotel management team and exemplify the highest standards of honesty, respect, integrity, and discretion. RMR principally invests in hotels through Service Properties Trust (NASDAQ: SVC), a real estate investment trust that owns 221 hotels located throughout the United States, Ontario, Canada, and Puerto Rico and net leased retail properties. SVC’s hotels include those part of Intercontinental Hotels Group, Hyatt, Sonesta, and Radisson Hotel Group including full service, select service, and extended stay brands.
The Building Engineer reports to the Lead Building Engineer and maintains a working relationship with and takes direction from all Property Managers in his/her area for issues affecting their properties.
Issues may range from tenant improvement work to preventive maintenance and repair of all building systems. This must be done in a manner that not only protects, but also maximizes the value of the property. We are looking for a qualified environmental specialist to join our National Engineering Team. In this role, you will conduct on-site facility inspections of RMR-managed properties throughout the country to ensure businesses are adhering to local, regional, state, and federal regulations. Provide technical support and training to our engineering staff throughout the territories. Being the expert on all things environmental, collaborate with the national engineering team, acquisitions, dispositions, and legal teams on environmental issues as they arise. Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of property management best practices.

The Manager, REIT Accounting provides accounting and compliance support for the real estate finance division of RMR. This position requires close coordination with various corporate department executives and cross functional groups including: payroll, treasury, accounts payable and management information systems. Overall, the Property Manager is responsible for all facets of the property(s) in his/her portfolio (approximately 7 MSF), and s/he has a responsibility to ensure the property is managed according to The RMR Group’s established procedures. The successful candidate will be a proactive, self-starter and will be the primary investor relations contact for one publicly traded client company of The RMR Group (Nasdaq: RMR). This position reports to the Senior Director, Investor Relations and works closely with senior leadership throughout RMR. The successful candidate will:
- Lead the investor relations efforts of one publicly traded company through the consistent and timely development of business analysis and investor communications that best position the company to achieve fair valuation.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for refining and articulating the value proposition for the client company. Define and refine key messages and incorporate these messages across various mediums. Consistently communicate key messages to the investment community in the form of clear and thoughtful new releases, investor presentations, conference call scripts and website content.
- Display a thorough knowledge and understanding of company markets, market drivers, supply/demand trends, peer business performance and financial expectations. Utilize existing analytical tools and/or create new tools/analyses to support the company’s investment thesis.
- Leverage the IR support team (Manager, Investor Relations and Investor Relations Associate) and department resources to identify and proactively target highest potential investors conducive to the company’s strategy, defining business characteristics and appeal to investment styles.
- Establish relationships with present and potential investors, and existing and target sell side analysts. Lead meetings with these parties both with and without management in attendance.
