The Data Engineer will play a pivotal role in operationalizing the most-urgent data and analytics initiatives for The RMR Group’s business initiatives. The bulk of the data engineer’s work would be building, managing, and optimizing data pipelines and then moving these data pipelines effectively into production for key data and analytics consumers.   Data engineers also need to guarantee compliance with data governance and data security requirements while creating, improving and operationalizing these integrated and reusable data pipelines. This would enable faster data access, integrated data reuse, and vastly improved time-to-solution for The RMR Group’s data and analytics initiatives.   This role will require both creative and collaborative working with IT and the wider business. The Internal Audit Senior Director will be a leader in the internal audit group and a strategic adviser and partner to the Director of Internal Audit. This role will be responsible for driving a transformation of internal audit’s role and the services it provides to the various RMR companies to help those businesses in their drive for operational excellence and optimal risk management.   Internal audit provides services to RMR and the companies it manages. These companies comprise a broad range of businesses, including hotels, office properties, industrial and logistics properties, senior living communities, medical office and life science properties, travel centers, net leased retail properties and CRE mortgage lending REITs.   The RMR companies are dynamic and constantly evolving. As a result, internal audit needs to continuously evolve, develop and improve. The Internal Audit Senior Director will need to have business savvy, experience and judgment, be adaptable, creative, agile and willing to embrace and drive change. In this role the Internal Audit Senior Director will be highly visible throughout the organization and will have frequent communication with executive management, including working collaboratively with the CFOs of the various RMR companies.   The Internal Audit Senior Director will oversee and manage the work and professional development of a team of three internal auditors as well as oversee, work collaboratively with and manage internal audit’s co-sourcing arrangements with outside consultants.
