The Chief Engineer is responsible for the overall management and operation of the mechanical, life/safety, electrical and plumbing operations for 847,612 sq ft of medical and commercial office buildings and for the supervision of all lead engineers, building engineers and other on-site mechanical and maintenance staff who are direct reports. The focus is on managing the workflow and scheduling maintenance and repair projects, as well as collaborating with the Director of Engineering to develop and manage projects, such as upgrading mechanical systems and tenant improvements. The Chief Engineer develops the schedule of work (SOW) for building projects and solicits pricing for the work. Will work within the corporate process to generate and track spending with service orders (SO’s) and purchase orders (PO’s). The Chief Engineer maintains working relationships with and takes direction from all Property Managers in his/her area for issues affecting their properties. The Chief must exhibit outstanding client service and professionalism in all interactions with tenants and RMR staff.  Teamwork, collaboration and mentorship are critical to this position’s success.

We are looking for a qualified environmental specialist to join our National Engineering Team.  In this role, you will conduct on-site facility inspections of RMR-managed properties throughout the country to ensure businesses are adhering to local, regional, state, and federal regulations.  Provide technical support and training to our engineering staff throughout the territories.  Being the expert on all things environmental, collaborate with the national engineering team, acquisitions, dispositions, and legal teams on environmental issues as they arise.  Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of property management best practices.

The Internal Audit Senior will be a critical part of the internal audit department. The position reports to the Senior Director of Internal Audit. The candidate will have a significant amount of interaction with accounting and finance personnel in companies that are associated with The RMR Group (RMR) and with the independent auditors for those companies. The candidate will also interact with other management and business personnel.   We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast paced, project-driven environment, with a robust analytical skill set, excellent attention to detail and an appetite for problem-solving. The candidate will perform a wide range of duties working closely with three Internal Audit Managers, as well as with diverse teams across the RMR platform. The candidate will provide stakeholders and the RMR-managed companies with compelling solutions to various challenges.
